Support the Foundation

A bridge to recovery. A bridge to healing. A bridge to health and well-being. A bridge to being part of a community.

That is what Bridge Health does for thousands of people each year in the Northwest Georgia community.

Bridge Health, formerly known as Lookout Mountain Community Services, has provided no- and low-cost mental health, substance use, and disability services to the citizens of Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, and Walker Counties.

Regardless of a person’s ability to pay, and especially for those without health insurance coverage, Bridge Health provides compassionate, comprehensive care, delivered by a team of dedicated professionals who are fully invested in the successful outcomes for the people they serve.

The difference our work makes is clear.

Because we rely on mostly Medicaid and Medicare funding, from your tax dollars, we are very careful stewards of the funds that we use to provide these essential services.

As a result, we funnel the vast majority of the funds we receive toward direct client care. We run very efficiently and carry much lower overhead compared to most healthcare entities.

Our work helps provide a path for recovery and self-sufficiency for the people we serve.

But we could use your help.

So many of our expenses are not covered through traditional funding streams. And with inflationary demands, we sometimes find ourselves struggling to meet some of the very basic needs of our clients.

Your donation, whether monetary or in-kind through the donation of goods and services, goes a long way toward helping us meet the need for services for people in our community who deal with mental health issues, substance use issues, or intellectual or developmental disabilities.

If you would like to give back, in any way, please reach out to Kathy Thornton, our Fundraising Coordinator, to see how your or your organization can plug in.
