Developmental Disabilities Host Home

It is the philosophy of the IDD program that individuals with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (IDD), can live a life of meaning at a level of independence that is within their capability and choice.  This philosophy of service and support promotes valued community engagement/participation, positive relationships, and employment, all key to assisting people with different intellectual and developmental abilities to actualize a life of meaning based on their individual needs and desires.

Children's Foster Home

Our foster parents are recruited, screened, and trained to provide an environment with sufficient structure and treatment to help children achieve their individualized treatment goals. Youth in TREK that have been removed from their biological family, live with a foster family until the child meets the goals set forth in the DFCS Case Plan.  Case Support Workers, Clinical staff, DFCS, the biological family (when appropriate) and the foster parents work together as a team to provide a healing environment designed to help the youth achieve increased emotional stability, improved behavioral functioning and social interaction.
